While some people like to cook on Christmas, your idea of a nice way to spend the day might be not cooking (or doing the resulting dishes). If you fall into this category, it’s a Christmas miracle: several New Orleans restaurants will be open for the holiday. A delicious, stress-free meal might be the best present of all.
New Orleans’ culinary traditions includes Reveillon, a Creole multi-course meal created to celebrate the holiday. Almost 50 restaurants participate in the Reveillon holiday tradition, which runs from December 1-31.
So, carry on to find traditional options and Creole favorites as well as Japanese, Indian, steakhouse, and Israeli culinary options to choose from. Check Open Table or call the restaurant for reservations.
